OlympiadHQ

About

A free archive.

OlympiadHQ is operated by Vamshi Jandhyala as a public-good archive of olympiad-level mathematics. Problems are reproduced from openly-licensed corpora (MathNet, MATH, HARP, UKMT) with full attribution to the original publishers.

AI

Honest about where AI sits and where it does not.

Not used to write the problems or the solutions. Both are reproduced verbatim from named human authors. Every problem on the page links back to its setter and its licence. Where an upstream dataset used AI internally for its own production (MathNet, for instance, used Mathpix and language-model assistance to extract text and figures from PDF source booklets), those disclosures stand on the dataset cards.

Used for classification. Topic tags, technique labels, and difficulty bands are assigned with help from language models, then checked. The tags are visible on every problem page so a reader can disagree with one and treat it as advisory rather than authoritative.

Used to build the site. The frontend, backend, and tooling are written with significant AI assistance for engineering. The output is reviewed and shipped under human responsibility, but pretending the codebase was hand-typed in a vacuum would be dishonest in 2026.

Licensing

Each problem carries its own attribution and licence label, visible on the problem page. If you are a rights holder and want material removed, email and it will be removed.
